As a startup analyst Joar is scouting and screening promising food & agtech startups for StartLife’s various programs, across different startup ecosystems. He will screen and select promising startups which can benefit from StartLife’s incubation program. Joar will also act as a contact person for the StartLife Accelerate program, our StartLife Corporate Partners and will help organize and execute projects and events together with those partners.
Through 2016 and 2017 he was a tenant at the Starthub as Co-founder of Tinyfoods, selling edible insects for human consumption in the BeNeLux. During his years at Tinyfoods he gained experience in management, business model ideation, product development and marketing as well as insights into the alternative protein market. In March 2019 he graduated from Wageningen University & Research with a Masters in Molecular Nutrition and Toxicology. Joining the StartLife team, he strives to increase the impact of innovative startups and contribute to a healthier and more sustainable future.
