Thomas is responsible for multiple programs for the StartLife community of students, startups and partners. Primarily, Thomas focuses on the development of an accelerator program in Wageningen. Also, Thomas operates as lead trainer in the field of lean startup, customer development, pitch training and partnerships. His primary goals are to help Agri-Food and Life Sciences startups grow, to enhance the entrepreneurial culture in Wageningen, and to connect StartLife to industry partners.
Before joining StartLife, Thomas was founder of BoxBites, an e-commerce startup focused on healthy snacking. BoxBites was sold in 2016. After BoxBites, Thomas worked as project manager and trainer at InnoLeaps, an Amsterdam-based innovation consultancy. There, he helped develop an Agri-Food accelerator program. He further worked on projects for clients such as Ahold, AB InBev, Rabobank and Vodafone.
Thomas finished a BSc in Health & Society at Wageningen University, where he is now finishing his MSc in Management Studies with a specialization in innovation and entrepreneurship.
