The year 2020 is very special to StartLife. We have much to celebrate! Last spring, we organized our 5th edition of F&A Next. And currently we are also running our 5th acceleration program. Earlier this week we moved into a brand new business center and incubator, Plus Ultra II: a building that hosts startups, scale-ups and support organizations. And, to top if all off, on 8 November it will be 10 years to day that StartLife was founded!
What started as a Center for Entrepreneurship that promoted and fostered entrepreneurship among the students of Wageningen University has grown into an international agrifoodtech accelerator, supporting hundreds of startups in growing their businesses and making a change. Hip Hip Hooray!
Jubilee graduation day
For our anniversary we are organizing a ‘jubilee graduation day’, as we have decided to combine our 10 year anniversary celebration with the completion of our 5th StartLife Accelerate program. “We would, of course, have loved to celebrate our anniversary with a large gathering in our new incubator building”, says managing director Jan Meiling, “but because of Covid-19 we have little choice but to celebrate it virtually. ” No worries though. We are organizing a true virtual fest for you!

We welcome you to celebrate 10 years of agrifoodtech innovation with us. Please register for our virtual jubilee graduation day, which is on Wednesday 9 December.
The program starts at 15.00h (CET), and will, of course, include short pitches by the nine startups of StartLife Accelerate Fall 2020 and a virtual network opportunity with all participants from 16.30h to 17.30h. We also welcome some special guests, like Constantijn van Oranje, Special Envoy at Techleap.nl.
Furthermore we look forward to having our brand new logo unveiled by a very special guest and share our plans for the next 10 years with you! And who knows, we may even have a nice surprise for you?!
