Bart Fischer is the owner of a company providing advisory support to companies operating in the food sector as well as start-ups/scale-ups ready for accelerating their growth. Currently, he is actively supporting SLE Enterprises (liquid encapsulation) and Verdify (personalized nutrition). Before this, he was a managing director at Accenture, a global professional services company for 25 years.
Bart is an enthusiastic professional combining excellent management skills with the ability to connect and engage, resulting in effective long-lasting cooperation and impactful results. He has over 25 years of experience in business development, account management, project management, innovation, digital marketing and transformation through multiple complex value-driven assignments within global high tech, medical equipment, retail and FMCG/ CPG companies operating in the front of their industries. As such, he has deep expertise in client delivery with a clear execution and result focus demonstrated by leading multiple complex and/or innovative engagements within complicated international client environments. In addition, he has performed several business development roles, always focused on opening up new markets, new clients, and realizing growth.
Bart has an MSc in Business Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Next to this, he is a certified Supervisory Board member from the Governance University. Finally, he has recently completed the education for being a professional cook at ROC Midden Nederland.
He is a passionate runner, reader, and traveler, especially to countries with tasteful national dishes. In addition, he volunteers at Buurtbuik (bring social cohesion by cooking meals from food surplus) and ImpactHub (focused on creating sustainable innovation) and PUM (enable the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries and emerging markets).
