Bart Fischer is former managing director at Accenture, a global professional services company.
Bart is an enthusiastic professional combining excellent management skills with the ability to connect and engage, resulting in effective long-lasting cooperation and impactful results. He has over 25 years of experience in business development, account management, project management, innovation, digital marketing and transformation through multiple complex value-driven assignments within global high tech, medical equipment, retail and FMCG/ CPG companies operating in the front of their industries.
Having been an integral part of the journey Accenture went through, from being a consulting / system-integration-focused company of 70K people towards a 500K people strong company able to assist with the full range of challenges triggered by the current (digital) dynamics. Within this context, he has acted in a wide variety of roles, ranging from pure delivery to go-to market and offering development, and management roles of which the last 10 years as managing director.
Bart has a MSc in Business Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Next to this, he is a certified Supervisory Board member from the Governance University. Finally, he has recently completed the education for being a professional cook at ROC Midden Nederland.
He is a passionate runner, reader, and traveler, especially to countries with tasteful national dishes. In addition, he volunteers at Buurtbuik (bring social cohesion by cooking meals from food surplus) and Voor Je Buurt (crowdfunding focused on local initiatives).
