Wouter Zwagemakers has 10+ years of experience in general management, strategy, transformation, business development, venture building, finance and M&A at large corporates (Albert Heijn/Ahold Delhaize, ETOS and AEGON) and more recently startups and scale-ups.
As industrial engineer by training, he loves to explore new frontiers, grow visionary ideas into reality and build sustainable change. Wouter is a curious and playful pioneer that loves to grow meaningful, innovative ideas to realize a brighter future for us all. Nature, food & tech and inspiring (younger) people is what gives him much energy. Next to 10+ years of working experience, he loves to help entrepreneurs and business teams with insights to grow and excel.
In 2021, Wouter joined the founding team of The Seaweed Company to build a regenerative, nature positive enterprise that is fit for the 22nd century. He is seeking to contribute to long term sustainable change in our short term world.
