Bas van Vugt

Bas van Vugt holds a strong background in innovation and venturing with +14 years of international experience at Heineken. He has held divers roles in various functions (i.e. finance, supply chain, commerce) at local, regional and global levels. With a track record of a “smart problem solver” and “connector”.

Bas fulfilled senior management roles in innovation. He pioneered new business models, initiated Heineken’s first activities in D2C eCom and investments in start-up and scale-up companies. In his last position at Heineken Bas led the creation of digital (D2C) businesses, joint ventures and partnerships with startup and scale up companies.

Most recently Bas started as Venture Partner at Rabo Frontier Ventures – Rabobank’s venture capital arm in food & agtech. In this capacity he helps portfolio companies to unlock growth through Rabobank’s global network and distribution power.
