Bert-Jan Woertman

As the Managing Director of StartLife, Bert-Jan Woertman is at the forefront of driving innovation in agrifood technology. With a strong background in building innovation ecosystems, Woertman has a proven track record in fostering international collaborations. He played key roles in creating High Tech Campus Eindhoven and co-founded both the venture building program HighTechXL and the incubator HighTech Plaza. Additionally, he contributed to the development of TU/e innovation Space and Brainport Industries Campus and is a co-founder and advisor to the braintech venture AlphaBeats.

Previously, Woertman led Mikrocentrum, a platform dedicated to connecting the high-tech and manufacturing industry through knowledge sharing, training, events, and its High Tech Platform.
