We are proud to announce the 9 early-stage startups that will make up the tenth cohort of our global acceleration program. In four months, the selected startups will level up their business development and be investor-ready. We   especially selected these startups for their innovative technological solutions that will contribute to a more sustainable system, from farm to fork.

Many current food production systems are unsustainable because they cause significant resource depletion and environmental setbacks. Startups with cutting-edge solutions such as precision agriculture, alternative proteins, and new fermentation technologies help revolutionize the agrifood industry and create a more sustainable food system. The technologies of the selected startups have the potential to increase food production, limit soil depletion, and decrease the carbon footprint of the agrifood industry, leading to a more sustainable future for all.

Over the next four months, the startup founders will focus on product-market discovery, business development, and fundraising. They will be exposed to agrifood investors, leading corporates, Wageningen University & Research experts, and be guided in workshops and one-on-one meetings with high calibre mentors, business coaches, and specialists.

Let’s take a look at the nine companies that are joining our 10th StartLife Accelerate program and their innovative agrifood technologies.

Demo Day: Celebrating 10th Edition

We have been offering  a cohort-based acceleration program for early-stage startups since fall 2018, alongside our tailored-made support program for later-stage startups. On Thursday, 22 June, we will celebrate our 10th Accelerate cohort with a special anniversary edition of our Demo Day, showcasing startups from our two support programs.

“This will be a Demo Day that agrifoodtech investors, corporates, and startups simply don’t want to miss out on.”

Jean Boudillon, our Program Manager, is already working on the Demo Day. “We will seize this special occasion to introduce a brand new Demo Day format. We are taking our highlight event to the next level, with more startups and more interactions with key players in the industry. It will be an event that agrifoodtech investors, corporates, and startups simply don’t want to miss out on.”
